Our Prophet (PBUH) emphasized the importance of being a person of service by saying, “The best of people are those who are beneficial to others.” Being a person of service also requires having a cause. This cause is to live Islam in its best form and to be a means for it to be lived. This is possible by enjoining good and forbidding evil.
